Refund policy

At Yalla-Bazaar.com, we want you to love your purchase. If you change your mind or receive a faulty item, we’re here to help. This policy explains your rights, your options, and how to return or exchange clothing items if needed. It is fully compliant with UK consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and does not affect your statutory rights under UK law.

 1. Right to Cancel Your Order

  • You may cancel your order within 14 days of the day after you receive the goods.
  • Notify us at support@yalla-bazaar.com with your order number.
  • You then have an additional 14 days to return the items.
  • You must contact us to obtain a return authorisation (RMA) before sending items back. Failure to do so may delay processing your return, but your statutory rights remain unaffected.

 

 2. Starting the Return Process

  1. You have 14 days from the day after you receive your goods to notify us that you wish to return them.
  2. Contact us at support@yalla-bazaar.com with:
    • Full order details
    • Reason for the return
    • Condition of the item (whether opened or unopened)
    • Confirmation that all tags and labels are intact
  3. Once approved, we will provide a prepaid DHL Express return label to return the item to our logistical warehouse.
  4. After we receive and inspect the returned item, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days from receipt and inspection.
  5. Return shipping costs:
    • If the return is due to a faulty or incorrect item, Yalla-Bazaar will cover shipping.
    • For non-fault returns outside the statutory period, return shipping costs may be deducted from the refund total.

 

3. Conditions for Returns

     Returned items must:

  • Be unused, unworn, and unwashed
  • Include all original packaging, tags, and labels
  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase

     These conditions apply to non-fault returns or returns outside the statutory 14-day            cancellation period. Statutory rights cannot be affected.

 

4. Items That Cannot Be Returned

  • Worn or unsealed underwear, swimwear, or shapewear
  • Altered or customized clothing
  • Items marked “final sale” or “non-returnable”
  • Clothing that has been worn, washed, or damaged by the customer

    These exclusions apply only to non-fault returns. Faulty, misdescribed, or incorrect         items remain fully returnable.

 

5. Refunds

    Once your return is received and inspected:

  • You will be notified of approval or rejection.
  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days from receipt and inspection of the items.

 

6. Refund of Shipping Costs

     Refunded only if:

  • The entire order is returned within 14 days, or
  • The items were faulty or incorrect

     For statutory cancellations within 14 days, standard delivery charges paid at                   purchase will also be refunded.

 

7. Deductions for Non-Fault or Non-Statutory Returns

    For returns outside the 14-day statutory period or under our goodwill policy:

  • A processing fee of up to 4% may be deducted to cover handling and restocking costs.
  • Return shipping costs will also be deducted unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
  • These deductions do not apply to statutory cancellations made within 14 days under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

 

8. Exchanges

    Exchanges are available for the same product in a different size, color, or model,                 subject to stock availability.

  • Contact us within 14 days of delivery with order details and exchange request.
  • A prepaid DHL Express return label will be provided.
  • Replacement items are shipped at no cost if the exchange is due to a fault.
  • For non-fault exchanges, return shipping may be deducted.
  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If unavailable, a full refund will be issued.

 

9. Faulty or Damaged Items

    Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:

  • Full refund if reported within 30 days
  • Repair or replacement if reported after 30 days (proportionate to the issue)
  • Partial refund or rejection if repair/replacement fails

    Report faults within 48 hours of delivery to support@yalla-bazaar.com with:

  • Order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Clear photos or video

    Return shipping is covered for faulty or incorrect items. Faulty items reported under       statutory rights will not incur any deductions.

 

10. Refused or Undelivered Parcels

  • If a parcel is refused or returned due to incorrect address or non-collection, return shipping costs may be deducted from non-fault returns.
  • Orders may be cancelled if delivery fails due to incorrect customer information.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

  • We are GDPR-compliant.
  • Personal information is used only to process orders and provide support.
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

 

13. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)

  • Yalla-Bazaar is not subscribed to an ADR provider.
  • Unresolved disputes may be referred to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

 

14. Liability Disclaimer

  • Yalla-Bazaar is not liable for courier delays, losses, damages, or customs/import duties.
  • We are responsible only for items that are faulty, damaged, or misdescribed.
  • Following our Returns Portal instructions is required for a valid return.

 

15. Legal Compliance

      This policy complies with:

  • Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013
  • Consumer Rights Act 2015

     Your statutory rights are not affected.
